Breeders can't predict what the dogs look like, and just because they parents have show quality features does not mean that the pups are going to be show dogs. I hate the fact that people forget what it means to have a dog: it is a special bond where both parties contribute unconditional love and affection. Who cares if someone docks a tail? Who cares if the dogs markings aren't perfect? And who cares if the dog doesn't have show quality attributes? Obviously, we all know the answer to that: people who are in it for the prizes, the money, and the attention. People who truly love their dogs (whether it be a show or pet quality dog) will love a dog unconditionally. So, whoever you are that posted this message, I can tell that you are not one of those people! I feel sad for the dogs you own or have come in contact with.
Mr. Boston,
Hadn't seen you posting for some time. Glad you are still with us. I would agree with your post above except for the docked tails. MHO; I'm against any unnecessary surgical procedures for a dog, family pet or show. Our prior B.T. was a rescue with a 3.5 inch tail that was so expressive. Our current is near show quality with only a nub of a tail. Neither were surgically altered in that area.
