"The DVD is called 'Go Fishing with the Kellogg's Fishing Team' and is filled with great fishing tips, techniques and all sorts of fun stuff," said Jim Zons, owner of EZ New Media. "Unlike a typical 'how to' DVD, this DVD combines useful information with a little biographical information and frankly some off the wall, out of the water fun!" Zons added.
The video for the DVD was shot on-location at Lake Champlain in New York in June of 2006. "The professional anglers on the Kellogg's Fishing Team are great to work with," said Zons. "They're naturals on camera and obviously really know their fishing!" he added. The Kellogg's Fishing Team includes pro anglers Dave Lefebre of Erie, PA; Sam Newby of Pocola, OK; Alvin Shaw of State Road, NC; Jim Tutt of Longview, TX; Clark Wendlandt of Leander, TX and the newest Team Kellogg's member, Kim Bain from Brisbane, Australia! The pro anglers on the Kellogg's Fishing Team have combined winnings of over $2 Million dollars on the Wal-Mart FLW Tour for bass fishing.
In addition to being an effective promotional tool for Kellogg's, "Go Fishing with the Kellogg's Fishing Team" was just awarded a silver Telly Award for excellence in competition. According to the Telly Awards web site, there were over 13,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents in the competition this past year.
