PROFILE:
Jim Zons, owner of EZ New Media, has over 20 years of experience in marketing, advertising
and electronic media. Prior to starting his own company, Jim worked for
seven Midwestern radio stations including KDWB in Minneapolis. He also
served as Creative Services Director for WQOW-TV 18 in Eau Claire. In
addition, Jim has worked in front of the camera and behind the scenes at
six of the nationwide television home shopping networks including the Cable
Value Network, QVC and Valuevision.
Jim has received numerous regional and national awards for excellence
in video production, audio production and web site development ... including
over one dozen awards in the past year alone.
Jim is frequently asked to speak at business
functions and seminars across the country about effectively using the Internet as a marketing and
communications tool. In addition to operating EZ New Media, Jim also hosts a
syndicated television program called Midwest Notebook that has aired on over
25 stations across the Midwest including most major Midwestern television
markets (Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Kansas City, etc.) Jim is also past
President of the Western Wisconsin Advertising Club and a member of the
Greater Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce, the Chippewa Valley Convention and
Visitors Bureau and the Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce.
